ABOUT MIA

Maria “Mia Amor” Sanchez is a Salvadorian-American on-air personality, Author, Voice-over pro & Emcee. Starting as a station intern at the age of 18 and working in the street team, setting up events, board op'n and doing call in's Mia was able to move up in the ranks. Due to her sassy personality, Mia has worked for various formats including Rhythmic CHR, Urban, Hurban & Regional Mexican that's allowed her to be one of the most versatile personalities in the radio game. She is currently the host of  "Mia in the Morning" 6am - 10am on 102.5 KSFM Sacramento and 6am -12pm on Q102.1 in the Bay Area.

Born in El Salvador and raised in the Bay Area, Sanchez has served as a voice to the community throughout her entire career. Her passion lies in being on-air and interacting with listeners on a daily basis through music and pop culture. Mia has emceed  THE WOMEN'S MARCH for the past years which is something she is passionate about. Her commitment to serve the community is Mia's priority. Due to her likable approach and dynamic nature, Mia has landed interviews with some of the top recording artists and celebrities in the industry including Jennifer Lopez, J. Cole, Nicki Jam, Mike Tyson, Ludacris and Chris Tucker, Ashley Graham and Ice Cube to name a few. In addition to her on-air acumen, Sanchez enjoys fashion, traveling, R&B music, Fitness and is a self-proclaimed, part-time “foodie.” She has also received numerous endorsements from major, national and local brands including Macy’s, Gold’s Gym, Cricket Wireless, Money Gram and more.

In 2019 Mia was part of a collaboration book titled "LEAD WITH V.I.V.A" Stories and Strategies of Leaders Who Lead with Vision, Inspiration, Voice, and Acceptance (Volume Book 1) where for the 1st time she told her story to inspire youth and women all around the world.
